It was my birthday today! Yay me! Started the day early with Spinning class and enjoyed a nice breakfast with George while watching Food Network. All normal routine for a Saturday morning.
But it’s my birthday and I didn’t want the same old routine. George helped in that effort by surprising me with roses when I got home from the gym. I take the phrase “take time to smell the roses” very seriously, and I have been sniffing them as often as I can!
At this point since the blog is so new, some of these things require significant back story. So for now, this is a big thank you list for all those who made my day fun! I suppose these are plugs in a way too…which is a good thing, right?
George! Thank you for the roses, the birthday presents, and for making me queen for the day!! http://blog.vec.com/
Solon Community Center Spinning Friends! Thanks for the motivation! http://www.solonrec.org/CC%20B.html#Group_Fitness_Classes
Portage County Amateur Radio Service! Thank you for being gracious hosts at your Antenna Day. You made a brand new Ham feel welcome!

Great Lakes Brewing Company! Your beer makes my soul happy. The dinner this evening was divine. And the indoor “patio” seating gave me the alfresco dining experience I was craving, in spite of the insane wind, rain and hail outside.
